Welcome to SpoVNet

SpoVNet (Spontaneous Virtual Networks) is a research project in the "Baden-Württemberg Support Programme for Information Technology" (BW-FIT) funded by Baden-Württemberg Stiftung GmbH. It was launched in 2006 and is now in its second funding period.

From 2006 to 2009, the universities of Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Stuttgart (IPVS, IKR) and Tübingen participated in SpoVNet. Since 2010, the universities of Karlsruhe, Mannheim und Stuttgart participate in SpoVNet.

A couple of Open Source Projects originated in SpoVNet.
